The origin of Wineandbarrels
Wineandbarrels was founded by Jakob Dau in 2008 following a trip through Europe on a search for suppliers of wine barrels for his newly established winery in Denmark.
On his European tour, Jakob Dau found two cooperages in France and Hungary, both manufacturing handmade wine barrels based on proud craft traditions. An import business was founded, as there was, and still is, a significant demand for high quality barrels.

In the following years, the business has been expanded considerably with a wide range of solutions for storing wine such as wine racks, furniture, wine cabinets, wine glasses and large variety of other wine accessories. In short: Luxuries for your wine.
Based in Hillerød north of Copenhagen, wineandbarrels is today one of Europe's largest dealers of wine storage equipment and wine accessories in general.
Wholesale and manufacturing
Wineandbarrels develop and produce a large variety of products at factories around the world and is also a distributor of some of Europe's most recognized and esteemed wine cabinets, wine racks, furniture, wine glasses, wine accessories and wine barrels.
The products are sold directly to end users and through a number of dealers and distributors.
Decoration of wine rooms and cellars
The company's specialty is the interior design of wine rooms and cellars. This is often done with the assistance of in-house specialists such as interior designers, furniture designer and cabinet maker.
Wineandbarrels will take on the task all the way from initial design and interior decor suggestions to the delivery and installation of a fully-assembled wine room.
About the founder Jakob Dau
Jacob is a devoted passionate of wine and wine making.
His passion has brought him many places around the world and thus over the years, he has established a significant network of wine producers and, in particular, producers of wine storage equipment, wine furniture and wine accessories.
